not enough old stuff for my liking... and it was really hard at times to recognize things.... everythings a bit to much downtuned these days, using 8 string guitars.... and then Mameli was really funny... don't know what he was on... announcing the wrong songs all the time; Uterwijk had to whisper the correct songs in his ear.. had to tap his effect-pedal once in a while... strange hahaha

You right, the old Pestilence had such good songs and riffs, melodies and hooks ( Out of the body !!! ... what a song ) ... and today?!?! ... blastbeats, and there is a little jazz influence in the songs ( that's how it sometimes sounds to me ) ... as I remember Mameli was playing Jazz for a few years, wasn't he?

well, he was really into Allan Holdsworth... he even wanted to work with him for the Spheres album, but Allan rejected this...... Total shame: they didn't play Out of the body....
