Rex was the namesake band of Rex Smith, the younger brother of Starz singer, Michael Lee Smith. He would go on to have success as a teen idol, but his first two albums under the name Rex are hard rock in the vein of his older brother's band.

I always find rare stuff on my annual trip to Washington D.C. This latest haul is thanks to CDepot, my go to store every time I'm out here. Last year around this time, I found Strappado by Slaughter and a bunch of other rare records there.
