Listened to them few times... overally nice power/thrashy thing... maybe I'll investigate them further in the future.

BTW I've found this LP for sale in the Virgin Steele's official webstore.

ah, didn't knew they had a rerelease on vinyl... cool....

Stiopa's picture

No, actually it seems they are selling 1st press... or were selling, I'm not sure this website is updated...
http://www.virgin-steele.com/merchandise.html Pretty cheap I think.

yeah, that's cheap.... hhhmmm would be nice to have copy signed by David and Edward....

Haha, great album. The drummer is funny though - He doesn't do a single fill in the whole album :---D.

E: I didn't mean to reply :/

hehe no fancy stuff... just straight forward...

That's some good Canadian thrash! I've seen the Exalted Piledriver and they still have awesome stage antics, Piley in his bondage gear and the others as bloodied zombies.

yeah, really cool they're still around..... but Piledriver in his bondage gear; let's put it this way.... he's a bit "bigger" these days hahahaha

oh, i lost count.... and besides metal i've a lot of other stuff too like progressive rock....

If you have time, you should do an inventory on Discogs. I did this summer and now I have a better estimate of my collection at around 1400. Like you, though, mine is not all metal. It helps you organize your collection, have an estimate of what it's worth, and is also good for insurance purposes.

it's def. a good idea.... i guess i will freak out of what it's worth in the end hahaha ... but actually uploading stuff here is the same thing; all my stuff is in boxes, lockers , shelves... sometimes i really don't know anymore what i have.... but now its up for display here.... it's actually crazy: looking at your stuff at a screen instead of pulling it out of the box and hold in your hand hahahaha

LazyLady's picture

Shit, sounds like you have a lot of vinyl! At least mine is all relatively in the same place (although my two shelves are full, some of my crates are bursting, and I've got two piles going on the floor that just won't fit anywhere). The nice thing about Discogs is that you can browse you collection online by date, artist, genre, etc. It does take a long time to enter, but worth every second imo.

yes, Discogs is a great site... i use it a lot too !!! But to get a good estimation i think you should combine multiple sources and and take an estimate... for instance Discogs for seller prices and popsike for buyer prices... looking at popsike makes you realise how much prices are fluctuating.....

LazyLady's picture

Yeah, for sure, the price thing is to be taken lightly. I'm not too concerned with that since I don't really sell or trade. I just like having an idea of what I own in a more manageable space. It can be overwhelming looking at all my crates of unclassed records!

hahaha i know that feeling.... sometimes i wished i wasn't the collector's kind... especially when i'm looking for something and i can't find it; that drives me nuts haha... everything is crammed into a couple of rooms; it's basically one big pile of records, shirts, guitars, gear, books and god knows what hahahaha.... at other moments its like some treasure hunt at your own place; digging up some forgotten gem you haven't seen in a while ... ah, first world problems..... anyway, you made me curious of your collection.... the Pentagram stuff was already very cool i must say !!!!

meaningless's picture

since many here told me to use this page, i brows along discogs too..but just to search for something..im to fucking lazy...to upload all my stuff...

i thought about the same..many ppl here told me to do so...but...to upload more then 4000 records....nope..hahahaha and type every info into it? ..haha..i need vacation if i would wanna do that.., ill stay with my excel file - if any1 want take a look..i can send it :P must be enough..hehe
