not bootlegs for money?
as far as i know, it's not been long since the official one was released and sold out fast. to me, it just looks like the bootleger tried hard to copy the original one. looks good, not that great in my opinion and i think if pull the plug patches were a big merchandise company, they would do a large quantity patches. i don't know alot about pull the plug patches and never ordered any though just my thought.

Well of course I appreciate bootlegs with original designs or at least some variation to the original way more! But these patches were so overhyped and way too limited, many people missed out on these.. So now maybe they have a chance to get the patch they really wanted, or at least a very similar version. And that's awesome.. Even though I personally don't care about Blood Incantation

And compare today's death metal with the old stuff is like comparing mcdonald's with 30 bucks burger, looks the same but totally different taste.

Modern osdm is prob one of my least favorite genre's out there along with Glam, nu, rapmetal etc

I wanna like the new bands like Tomb Mold, BI, Creeping Death etc but I can't :(

seller stoped selling once PTPP called him out and you can tell how it’s a bootleg. different color on some parts. pink here, purple on OG. the logo is blurry, lacks detail. this is in fact not a og and i can confirm this. try reading what PTPP said, he as well made a small side by side comparison!

While I don't normally mind bootlegs, gotta say I'm with TRV3Y on this one, the logo to me is the most important thing, and it's squished. Badly. Other parts are off as well, but the main thing is this dude just straight up stole the design and made bootlegs because it was one of PTPP's fastest selling patches, they were just trying to cash in. I'm an artist, and often do my own renditions of characters I like from popular games or whatever. I put them up on sites like redbubble for people to buy on shirts and shit. I see other sellers stealing shitloads of designs from official video game art or whatever and slapping them on t-shirts and shit and those people RAKE in money. I draw my own designs and they get taken down, because the character technically isn't mine, (I mean, fair enough) but at least I came up with the drawing myself. That's the deal with this. PTPP's mostly does this as a hobby. He gives a cut to the band. He puts in hours of work to make mock ups, get in touch with the bands, ship everything out, etc, and then some dickhead comes in, copy-pastes the image (albeit badly) and makes a bunch of fucking money without the consent of the band, the album cover artist, or the guys who come up with the design layout for the patch. Being on the other side I understand why PTPP is fucking pissed. I'd be too. I have no problem with bootlegs, but at least design your own shit, not directly steal the design that just barely came out.

Like I said I know a bunch of people that would've loved to own the patch but couldn't get it cause of its limitation, so this Bootleg could've made lots of people happy - The difference is so little... No one's gonna check your Kutte with a magnifying glass anyways!

And usually Bootlegs of new designs don't make sense and are a shitty move.. But if it's such a limited and expensive release, for which you literally had to wait in front of your computer until the moment it's released, I'd like to see a Bootleg version for everyone that wants to purchase when THEY want and not when some Facebook post tells them to.

I'm with you here, very limited (and in this case also pretty expensive) patches opens a demand for bootlegs. As long as the bootlegs doesn't have inflated prices, go for it. Then again, pretty much all patches have become more and more expensive the last few years. Lots of money to be made in both official and bootleg business so I'm not surprised by this very good boot.

its a boot..but nice patch anyway. Kofiv6 and some others point out a lot of good reason why to buy this. I have bought a (imo) very good Bootleg from this Obituary Coffin patch, some years ago. Its not exactly the same - yes..but damn..its very close and DONT cost 200$ lol
Even i was thinking about to buy this bootleg patch, because the original one is sold out and ppl want a shitload on money for it...ppppfffff
