This one caught my attention and I'm glad I spent the money on it since it turned out to be an enjoyable read. This cult Norwegian zine was conceived by a former Mayhem personality most, if not all of you may know as Maniac in the mid-80s. The first issue was released in September of 1986 around the time Cliff from Metallica was killed in that fateful bus crash in Sweden and features an interview with Kirk Hammett two days before the aforementioned tragedy. Lots of other interesting things in this book including interviews with Max Cavalera and Killjoy right as Morbid Visions and Season of the Dead were being released, an interview with Euronymous & Necrobutcher right as Maniac was going through the process of joining Mayhem, and all kinds of other cool shit including a 2017 comeback issue featuring an interview with Fenriz which made me grin while reading it and intelligent & thoughtful interviews with Spain's Teitanblood and Mikko of Finland's Clandestine Blaze. There's a nice interview Dayal Patterson did with Maniac as well. Recommended!
