Okay, before i bore you boys and girls to death with my stinky old tees i'll throw in something else: got these signed by Paul Di'Anno recently. Too bad Paul quits, but all good things must come to an end....
Don't mean to offend here but i was always wondering. How do you recognize the original "Soundhouse Tapes" from the various bootleg versions that were released in later years? I mean, i have a copy but how can i tell if it's the original? (Still, i believe it's a bootleg).
All say it is most likely original. Even Paul thought it is. Bought it many years ago: older bootlegs are pretty easy to recognize. Well, i don't think you ever can be 100% sure; only if you bought it when it was released
yes, its a really good site... the bad thing is that new bootlegs are getting so perfect that the difference with the original is hard to tell. I think the old bootlegs can be seen as tributes to the band and an attempt to make things available again to the fans. The new bootlegs are made to rip off uninformed buyers; it's a bunch of thieves making a quick €€€ with no respect for the band, the fans and the collectors...
Thanx... Yes, Paul is a cool guy... but i was really shocked to see him walk with a cain and literally gasping for air !!! Respect to that man for going on to that stage nonetheless; he gave everyhing thats left in him !!!!
Oh man is he in that bad shape?
I´m sorry to here that, i am just reading his self biography,
he´s done some crazy stuff!
I wish i could be there back in the days at Ruskin Arms and all other places that they crashed!
The best band ever!!! I will see Di'Anno in 2013 since he rescheduled the tour of this fall so I'll bring my Killers and s/t for him to sign! Owning the Soundhouse Tapes is yet a wet dream... I hope to get it someday.
impressive stuff dude, sanctuary-7", woman in uniforms-7"...soundhouse tapes..etc...great dude!!..damn...
in 2 of my Iron Maiden collectors-Books are scans from the original-7" press. The homepage u posted above is very good discripted.
If u wanna have this scans, from the book i mean, just let me know..i can send it over :)
A real treasure my friend..haha..i would be happy with a bootleg too :P would be ok for me..hahaha
because the original have a 'not to talk about'-price :)
would love to have those scans...any collectors information is welcome here !!!! Yeah, let's not talk about those prices... btw people could offer me ten times the price it demands: the memory of having a chat with a icon as Paul and him approving my collection is worth a lot more to me !!!
DAMN! As the maiden fan I am this is really fucking amazing. No words for it man. But Di'anno going to quit??? Hmmm last chance too see him... Definitly gonna go then. Makes me regret I didn't go last time he was here. Remember reading it in Aardschok...
Yeah but I heard that's gonna be with an Iron Maiden tribute band. And in my opinion singing with a tribute band from the band you were once a part of is sad. The fact he appeared on Maiden tribute Albums is also sad in my opinion. But I also read something about Di'anno vs Blaze so that might be interesting.
well, he's actually touring with his normal band, although there are various line-ups...anyway, they're a very good band !!! About Blaze: i'm really not a fan of him, didn't went to see him when he played here....
Really thought I read he was touring with A tribute band. And I was like come on... IMO that's the same as being divorced and dressing up some woman as youre ex and redoing youre wedding with her. That's how I see it. But never mind if it's eith his own band. And about Bayley.... Not a fan either, like only a couple of songs from his Maiden era and only when sung by Bruce.... And his last work was an abomination IMO. Just thought it would be cool to see 2 ex-Maiden vocalists at one gig.

Is this an original Soundhouse Tapes??? o.O
