Define normie-land lol. If you mean mainstream, it obviously is. But the fest is amazing. It's an experience just to attend. Having at least a handful of artists you care about is enough to attend. For me, that was predominantly X Japan (very crazy they played it if you think about it) and then A Perfect Circle, Eminem, Deorro, Kygo, Otoboke Beaver, and Kolsch, among others (I don't just listen to metal).
I highly recommend it if you'd enjoy a unique festival experience, are open to meeting people, and aren't going to have a stereotypical metal mindset of being against everything that's not metal (those people probably wouldn't attend in the first place lol - this isn't MDF).
