Dying Fetus Battle Vest ( Kutte ) front and back
The front side and backside of my battle vest ( kutte )
I think the patches are quite noticeable, but the flag at the bottom of the vest is something special:
In Austria every child has to successfully complete a "bicycle drivers license" when it's 8 years old. If you succeed you will recieve this flag and you have to put it on your bike and you're allowed to drive on the street by your own and not on the sidewalk anymore. I decided to sew this thing onto my battle vest!
I started to collect and buy the patches in 2011 and this is the current state of the vest (2013).
And probably you can find a patrick starr patch on the back of the battle vest ;)

Naaah, it's great to teach the little ones the basic rules of traffic and they get to know the basic signs...it also prepares them a bit for their real drivers license
Yeah, I agree. I would support school programmes like that.
But to make a law on where kids can ride their bikes and to make a flag like that as a "driver's license" for bicycles is odd.

of course they are allowed to ride their bikes earlier and also they must already be ready to ride the bike, but only on the sidewalk, after the "exam" they can ride it on the street like "grown-ups" ^^
